Education and Community Programs Manager

The Lower Columbia Estuary Partnership is looking for an Education & Community Programs Manager.  I did not post this position to Concordia’s jobs board because I wasn’t sure it was the right place for the experience level we are looking for, but I wanted to at least reach out and ask whether you know of any candidates who might be interested. Please let me know whether you share this information and/or whether we should consider posting to your university jobs board.

The Lower Columbia Estuary Partnership seeks an Education and Community Programs Manager.  This position works closely with other managers as part of the Management Team to carry out the goals of the Estuary Partnership and the Comprehensive Conservation Management Plan and develop and implement six-year implementation strategies and biennial workplans.  This position oversees and manages the Estuary Partnership’s well-established education and volunteer program.  The education program reaches approximately 5,000 students per year and works with over 150 teachers in communities from Astoria to Washougal.  Community programs include volunteer plantings and clean-ups, community paddles, and other events.  The Education and Community Programs Manager oversees deliverables for as many as 20 or more grants at a time with an annual budget of approximately $1,000,000 and supervises our Education and Community Programs Team.
